The iconic Ford Fiesta has been a familiar sight on British roads for over 40 years and has consistently been Britain's most popular car year-after-year since 2008. Indeed, the Fiesta hatchback officially became the best selling car in the UK ever in 2014 by overtaking the Ford Escort.
Ford's newest seventh-generation Fiesta is the complete package combining driver appeal in a small, economical car that is well-built, comfortable and packed with the latest technology. As always, it offers exceptional driving dynamics with head-turning good looks.

Although the latest Fiesta hasn't departed very far from its predecessor, it's actually bigger where it counts. Ford designers have worked hard to increase space in the back so passengers have more legroom than ever before.
As standard, every Fiesta receives an 8" touchscreen with DAB Radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity so you can safely access some of your favourite smartphone apps on the move. From Titanium specification, Ford SYNC 3 - a state-of-the-art infotainment system - is installed to make life easier by allowing you to use intuitive voice commands to control the music and navigation system.
For the first time ever, the Fiesta is available with FordPass Connect which helps you to stay seamlessly connected wherever you are, especially when you download the FordPass App. This system provides an in-car Wi-Fi hotspot for up to ten devices and real-time traffic updates delivered straight to the built-in sat nav.
The innovative MyKey system lets you set a maximum speed limit, set a seatbelt reminder and even control audio volume if you want to. Ford designed it to give you peace of mind if you lend your Fiesta to a friend or family member.
If you love music and the feeling of being at the concert of your favourite artists, then you'll want the B&O system on your Fiesta. This premium audio system from the specialist acousticians comes with a 10-speaker, woofer and subwoofer set up that delivers rich and powerful sound. It comes as standard on Titanium X models and specific B&O editions.
As soon as you start your Ford Fiesta, you'll bring a whole range of intelligent features and systems to life to help give you an easier and more pleasurable driving experience.
The Lane Keeping System comes as standard and is designed to detect if you're unintentionally drifting out of your lane (i.e. you haven't indicated) on multi-lane roads such as motorways. A visual warning will be displayed and the steering wheel will vibrate to let you know; however, if you're slow to react or don't respond, the Lane Keeping Aid can provide steering torque assistance to guide the car back into your lane.
To help make long journeys less tiring, the Fiesta is equipped with Cruise Control which enables you to keep within a pre-set speed limit without having your foot on the accelerator pedal. This system can help you save fuel and minimise the chance of speeding. If you do get tired, the Driver Alert system is designed to detect any changes in your driving alertness and will suggest for you to take a break.
From Titanium level upwards, the Fiesta gets really clever and is able to take care of simple tasks to make driving easier. Using the rain sensing wipers, it can feel when it's raining and knows to turn the windscreen wipers on automatically. Similarly, Auto High Beam prevents you from dazzling other drivers when it's dark at night by temporarily dipping your headlights when it detects oncoming traffic.
Available as an option, Active Park Assist takes the stress out of parking by using a combination of various technologies to steer your Fiesta into a parallel or perpendicular space. All you have to do is engage the system and control the speed.
The Fiesta has always been renowned for providing an exhilarating performance - it's partly what sets it apart from its closest competitors. The sophisticated driving dynamics and precision handling deliver class-leading driving enjoyment.
Because the Fiesta is so much fun to drive, you might think it isn't very fuel efficient. You would be wrong. Powered by the 1.0-litre Ford EcoBoost petrol engine, a winner at the International Engine of the Year Awards for six years running, it is capable of returning impressive fuel consumption figures up to 60.1mpg.
If however, you prefer to have a diesel engine under the bonnet, the good news is that it is even more frugal. The 1.5 TDCI 85 PS unit is able to achieve a combined fuel consumption of 74.3mpg with CO2 emissions as low as 96g/km.
To improve fuel efficiency even further, you could equip your Fiesta with Auto Start-Stop technology which automatically switches off the engine when you stop at traffic lights or you're set idling in a queue. This system is particularly effective in congested towns and cities where fuel consumption can be cut by up to 10% (urban cycle).
